HUMANIZER
OSCAR
With Oscar, I wanted to create a figure carrying something already lived.
The gaze is present, direct, almost frontal, but it passes through a filter, creating a voluntary distance. The lines accumulate, building the figure without smoothing it. Nothing is clean. Nothing is fixed.
Part of my Humanizer series, this work explores identity, roles, and the ways we learn to protect ourselves while remaining visible.
Oscar is not here to please or perform.
He simply stands there — present, guarded, and fully himself.
