TOBIAS
With Tobias, I wanted to explore the instability hidden behind certainty.
The character carries the presence of someone who once believed he understood the world, then experienced a deep internal rupture that pushed him toward transformation, spirituality, and the search for meaning.
But what interests me is what comes after the awakening.
Sometimes we replace one system of belief with another. We change the language, the symbols, the environment — while keeping the same need for certainty and control.
In the Humanizer series, animal-human hybrids become emotional constructions, reflecting the fragile mechanisms through which we build identity, meaning, and personal truths.
The glasses create an ambiguous tension: they suggest clarity and vision while simultaneously filtering reality.
Through instinctive lines, layered textures and vibrant contrasts, Tobias appears suspended between transformation, doubt and the illusion of understanding.
