Chapitre II — Proliférations
With Teeming Colony, I wanted to explore the moment when growth becomes collective.
Individual forms begin to connect, multiply and organize themselves into a larger system. The composition appears vibrant and playful, yet it is driven by an underlying dynamic of expansion.
I was interested in the way living structures develop beyond the scale of a single organism. Repetition creates rhythm, density and eventually a sense of autonomy.
The work exists between attraction and saturation, between harmony and occupation.
Within Overgrowth, Teeming Colony marks the beginning of a new phase where growth is no longer an event but a self-sustaining process.
