Cheshire Cat

Inspired by the Cheshire Cat from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, this work explores the fragile boundary between what we see and what we believe we see.
I wanted to create an image that never settles into a single interpretation. Shapes emerge, disappear and transform as the eye moves across the composition. The viewer becomes part of the work, constantly rebuilding its meaning.
Within my SOCIAL MYTH collection, this painting reflects my interest in perception, ambiguity and the way our minds complete what is only partially revealed.
