Aurora

In Aurora, a palm-lined beach appears frozen in the light of a setting sun. Empty loungers, a peaceful sea, and glowing colors evoke a holiday retreat where time seems to stand still.

Yet beneath this apparent tranquility, everything is in motion. Lines intersect, colors vibrate, and the landscape seems to hold onto the warmth of the day. Shades of pink, orange, and turquoise create an atmosphere somewhere between reality and memory.

Here, Julien Gilles plays with the contrast between the peace we seek and the restlessness we carry within. The landscape becomes more than an invitation to escape: it evokes those precious moments we wish could last a little longer, when the world finally seems to slow down.
