Rising

In Rising, the emerging light transforms a tropical landscape into an almost dreamlike scene. Palm trees rise against the ocean, while the sky and its reflections merge in a movement of lines and colors.

At the heart of the composition, clouds and light seem to form a flower opening towards the sky. A subtle, almost hidden shape that gradually reveals itself as the viewer takes time to explore the painting.

Luminous blues, yellows, and golden reflections create an atmosphere where the tranquility of the landscape meets the energy of a world awakening.

Through this work, Julien Gilles evokes renewal and transformation. Like the flower seemingly emerging from the light, Rising reminds us that every ending may carry within it the promise of a new beginning.
