WILD
Foxy
In Foxy, the fox embodies a form of instinctive intelligence, shaped by cunning, alertness, and the art of evasion.
Its mischievous gaze and calm posture contrast with the frenzy of lines running through the composition. The fur seems to vibrate beneath layers of lines and colors, as though the animal could vanish at any moment.
Between apparent gentleness and wild instinct, Foxy embraces ambiguity. It observes, anticipates, yet reveals nothing of its intentions.
Through this work, Julien Gilles explores cunning not as a flaw, but as a form of freedom: the freedom to remain elusive.
