In this work, Julien Gilles reimagines the peacock as a symbolic presence, combining visual impact with inner strength.

Inspired by the phoenix, the colours suggest transformation, while the radiating composition evokes both expansion and protection.

Through this figure, the artist invites us to question our tendency to search outside ourselves for what we already possess within.
