In WTF, the primate's gaze seems to express profound bewilderment. Its strikingly human expression shifts between confusion, surprise, and silent judgment.

Intense greens, intersecting lines, and densely layered strokes bring this face to life, its stillness contrasting with the restless energy of the composition.

But who is observing whom? Behind this almost accusing gaze, Julien Gilles reverses the roles. What if we are not the ones trying to understand the animal, but rather the animal struggling to make sense of our behavior?
